Personal License

Flora Dev provides you with a perpetual, non-exclusive license to utilize the Widgets, Pages, and Templates.

This license grants one individual (the Licensee) the right to access and use the Widgets, Pages, and Templates provided by Flora Dev.

You are permitted to:

  • Use the Widgets, Pages, and Templates to develop an unlimited number of Flutter Applications as End Products.
  • Modify the Widgets, Pages, and Templates to create derivative components for use in your End Products. These derivatives are also covered by this license but cannot be used to create competing products.
  • Use the Widgets, Pages, and Templates to create End Products for an unlimited number of Clients.
  • Use the Widgets, Pages, and Templates for End Products that are sold to End Users as Flutter Applications.

You are not permitted to:

  • Use the Widgets, Pages, or Templates to create End Products that allow End Users to generate their own Flutter applications using the Widgets, Pages, Templates, or derivatives (e.g., an app builder or design generator).
  • Redistribute the Widgets, Pages, Templates, or derivatives as standalone items outside of an End Product, whether as source code or design assets.
  • Share your access to the Widgets, Pages, or Templates with others, including through public or private repositories.
  • Use the Widgets, Pages, Templates, or derivatives in projects deemed competitive or conflicting with Flora Dev's business. This includes, but is not limited to, products that directly replicate or replace Flora UI’s functionality.
  • Publish any part of the licensed source code, in whole or in part, as open-source software or make it publicly available under any license that allows unrestricted access, modification, or distribution.

Usage Examples

Examples of activities allowed under this license:

  • Developing a commercial SaaS Flutter application (e.g., a task management app) where users are charged a fee to access its features, as long as the Widgets, Pages, and Templates are embedded into the application and are not provided as customizable or reusable assets for End Users.
  • Building a self-hosted Flutter application that is sold to end users for a one-time fee (e.g., a custom event management app).
  • Creating a Flutter application where the Widgets, Pages, and Templates enhance its user interface, provided the app's primary purpose is not to redistribute the widgets or templates.

Examples of activities not allowed under this license:

  • Redistribution of any part of the licensed source code as a standalone package, library, or component intended for use outside of the licensed application or project.
  • Publishing the licensed source code, in whole or in part, as open-source software or making it publicly available under any license that allows unrestricted access, modification, or distribution.
  • Creating and publishing a collection of Flora Dev widgets, templates, or their derivatives for free or for sale.
  • Building a UI library, theme, or starter kit using Flora Dev components and distributing it.
  • Adapting Flora Dev templates to another platform or framework (e.g., React Native) and making them available for sale or free.
  • Developing a Figma or Sketch UI kit based on Flora Dev widget designs for redistribution.
  • Building an app builder or tool that enables users to create mobile apps or interfaces using Flora Dev components.
  • Developing a Flutter application that primarily functions as a design tool or widget showcase intended for redistribution.

Summary

You can use Flora Dev to create Flutter applications for yourself or clients, whether commercial or free, as long as the Widgets, Pages, and Templates are not redistributed, repackaged, or used in a way that competes with or poses a threat to the business interests of Flora Dev. This includes, but is not limited to, activities that replicate Flora Dev's functionality, enable others to bypass the need for Flora Dev, or otherwise undermine the value of Flora Dev's offerings.
